A brunch designed for families from the very beginning

La Fabbrica’s Kids Friendly brunch didn’t become family-friendly over time: it was designed that way from the start.

At the time, we were young parents ourselves. We wanted to create the kind of brunch we would have loved to enjoy with our own children: a place where adults could genuinely enjoy their Sunday brunch while the kids had fun, moved around and enjoyed an experience of their own.

More than ten years later, the concept has grown and evolved, but the original idea remains the same. At La Fabbrica, being Kids Friendly doesn’t simply mean that children are welcome at the table: the brunch is designed for the whole family.

Entertainment for children every Sunday

At La Fabbrica, children’s entertainment isn’t reserved for a few special dates. There is something for kids to enjoy every Sunday.

The bouncy castle and face painting are regular favourites. Another activity completes the programme, such as a clown, circus initiation, stilt walker or special character, depending on the season and the year’s themed brunches.

All activities are included in the price of the brunch and are available during both sittings. Whether you come for the first or second sitting, children have plenty of time to enjoy all the activities.

The face painting also changes to match special occasions. At Halloween, for example, the designs take on a suitably spooky theme. And although face painting is mainly for children, every now and then a few parents decide to join in too!

Children can move around and enjoy the brunch

A family brunch doesn’t necessarily have to mean children sitting at the table throughout the entire meal.

At La Fabbrica, children remain under their parents’ supervision, but they can move between the different spaces and enjoy the activities.

The bouncy castle is located in the gallery and can be seen from the covered terrace. Face painting and the Kapla play area are in the lounge, directly accessible from inside the restaurant. The Sunday clown or other entertainment completes the experience.

Children naturally move from the table to the activities, return to the buffet for something else to eat and then rejoin their parents.

That is also why La Fabbrica deliberately has a family-friendly, lively and animated atmosphere. Children are genuinely part of the brunch experience here.

A buffet where children find their favourites too

There isn’t one buffet for adults and another for children: the whole family enjoys the same generous all-you-can-eat sweet and savoury buffet.

Children naturally have their favourites: a selection of pizzas, pasta, pastries, fruit, hot waffles and the much-loved Nutella pizza.

They can also enjoy some of La Fabbrica’s signature brunch experiences that appeal to children and adults alike: pasta prepared in a Parmesan wheel, freshly made crêpes and the chocolate fountain.

The drinks formula is the same for the whole family too. Among the included drinks, orange juice, grenadine and lemonades are particularly popular with children.

Ages 3 to 12: an all-inclusive children’s brunch

The children’s brunch costs €22 for ages 3 to 12. This includes unlimited access to the buffet, included drinks and all the entertainment offered during brunch.

Children aged 0 to 2 eat for free. High chairs and a changing table are available for younger children, there is a space at the restaurant entrance where pushchairs can be left, and the kitchen can warm a bottle or baby food on request. Simply mention that you are bringing a baby when booking so that a high chair can be prepared.

From age 13, the adult price applies.

Halloween, Saint Nicholas, Easter… Sundays that become even more special

Every Sunday includes entertainment, but certain times of the year are also celebrated with special themed brunches.

Halloween, Saint Nicholas, Christmas, Carnival, Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day: the programme changes with the seasons, and some of our regular activities make way for special guests.

The clown might be replaced by Saint Nicholas, the Easter Bunny, a stilt walker, a circus initiation or other surprises created around that Sunday’s theme.

Practical information for a family brunch at La Fabbrica

La Fabbrica’s Kids Friendly brunch takes place every Sunday at Tour & Taxis in Brussels, with two sittings.

For the first sitting, arrival times are 10:30 or 11:00 am; for the second, 1:00 or 1:30 pm, depending on the area where your table is located. Each sitting lasts two hours.

The brunch costs €45 per adult and €22 for children aged 3 to 12. Children aged 0 to 2 eat for free. The all-you-can-eat buffet, included drinks and entertainment are all included in the price.

La Fabbrica is accessible by public transport, bicycle and car. If you are driving, P3 – Anna Boch underground car park, accessible via Drève Anna Boch, is the closest car park to La Fabbrica. P1 – Picard, at 13 Rue Picard, is larger and offers more parking spaces.

Because Kids Friendly wasn’t something added to the brunch later. It is the idea the concept was built around from the very beginning.

Entertainment every Sunday, spaces where children can move around, a buffet where they can easily find food they enjoy, special events throughout the year and an atmosphere where families can genuinely feel at home.
